“ I can't recommend this spot enough. The flavor and quality of the food is exceptional, and the cocktails have been spot-on. Plus, the owner is lovely and has been wonderful to chat with. They've done a beautiful job with their space and it's clear she cares very deeply about the food she serves. They're also very knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. The menu is gluten free, and there are a ton of vegetarian and vegan options. I have been very safe eating here with celiac disease. Highly recommend dropping in for a meal. And take some to go! ;) ”
“ The onigiri at sankaku is SO GOOD, no joke. I've made onigiri at home before but nothing close to as good as what we had here. There are many flavors to pick from, and they're delicious fresh, but also great for taking on the go! If you've never had onigiri before and wanted to try one, the tuna mayo is a great starter option, or if you're looking for a more interesting/authentic choice, I *highly* recommend the ume konbu (pickled plum, konbu seaweed, and sesame) which was incredible! Definitely worth your time! こちそ様てした! ”
“ Delicious food all around! All gluten-free (GF) and they have vegetarian options. Would absolutely recommend the Tuna and Miso onigiris And the owner is so kind and cool ”
“ Wow! I don’t know if it’s the flavor combinations, the fluffy rice, or both. But these have got to be the best onigiris we’ve had (Japanese hubby who grew up in Hawaii agrees). We got the tuna mayo and ume konbu for dine in and we loved them so much, we decided to get other onigiris to go. Also got the Smokey peach cocktail and it was tasty and well balanced. Such a cute little spot in Capitol Hill and incredibly friendly staff. ”
“ Rie, the owner, is seriously one of the most amazing kindest humans we’ve met in Seattle. We live next door so we come here often and Rie frequently sends us home with extra goodies as a “snack for later” haha. She even gave us Sapporo bar glasses to take home because she said she had too many. My favorite thing on the menu is the cucumbers, however she doesn’t have them right now due to a recent recall. She said they will be back soon though! The peach lime soda she makes is also delicious. If you have time to try this place, do it, you won’t regret it! ”
“ This owner and restaurant is 10/10. Had a lunch box with salmon. Cabbage slaw, potato salad, egg side dish. She knows flavor. Perfection. The quality in the ingredients top notch. Wonderful salmon. There’s a ton of food and care that goes into this. I found out well worth the price. Not to even mention she does all of this gluten free?!!!!!! Amazing ”
“ My favorite spot for a quick and tasty bite! All of the onigiri are so delicious, and the side dish portions are huge. The owner is also very sweet. Great for dining in or take out. ”
“ Great spot for a quick bite. We got the tuna mayo, salmon basil and nasu miso onigiri. All of them were delicious. Would highly recommend this place. The owner was great and also gave us a sampling of the sweet potato salad and the sesame Daikon which were also great 10/10. Come show your love if you are in Seattle. ”
